About the event
A mandala is an ancient tool that evokes the wholeness of a circle. It is a meditation to hone focus, establish a sacred centre & explore universal patterns-tapping into the greater intelligence that moves and is moving through all things.
Mandala yoga uses this tool to build a 360 flow that will have you moving around your mat, building energy, strength & flow & totally re-inspiring your practice. The practice is informed by the elements, every class will work with the spiral patterns of nature to help us access the wisdom of each of the elements in our bodies. Remembering we are nature, we are the intelligence & harmony that we witness in all of nature's systems.
A foundational knowledge of yoga is advised for these sessions as they build on sun salutations & can be quite dynamic. Working with the lunar cycle, classes towards the new moon will be gentler in energy, often with more yin aspects (holding postures for a longer time for deep relaxation).
Jessica teaches with her passion for movement, awe of the body & care for the human condition. Inspired by nature, her connection to the Mother, dance, music, shamanic practices & the remembrance we are nature, we are harmony, we are health, wisdom & bliss.
